Yeah, I agree video blogging is much more personal. Why do you think YouTube is so popular. I don’t think the printed word will ever disappear, however video blogging is definitely increasing. Rocketboom is a three minutedaily VideoBlog that covers and creates a wide range of information and commentary, from top news stories to quirky internet culture, with a heavy emphasis on international arts, technology and weblog drama. In the car, on the train walking, waiting for someone.) You would be pleased to hear that video blogging is still on my list of things to doso watch this space! You never know, you may start seeing my own little videos popping up! Right now the majority of video blogging is done following the typical model of text blogging with Robert being one of the few that has stepped beyond this format. Then when it comes to watching them we slip into the mode of being a blog reader and as such, we find things like podcasts and videos to be a distraction because we are typically in a rush and reading about something is quicker.
video publishing
We’re working on creating a widget displaying video, information and a button to call US Congressional representatives but for now we’ll leave you with the following video published by Conley in China last week. Update: Ribbit.com doesn’t want to give us an account promptly, so we’ll just say - if you want to call the US Congressional Foreign Affairs Committee to register your concern about the 5 people above, they are at +1 202 225 5021 and they are waiting for you. Our long-held reputation for publishing highly scalable, “Digg-proof” pages. Don’t forget comments. The process of publishing the first video was considerably more drawn out than posting the Seesmic video. I first recorded the video in iMovie, started to export it as a reasonably big mp4 video file, stopped that and exported it as a smaller video file, re-encoded it as a mp4 file again and then uploaded it to Blip.tv where it now resides (well after two failed attempts to upload the video to Viddler).
Not everyone needs to be published. I am content right now to respond to people like you who blog. Direct links to AOL Video and YouTube make it effortless to publish videos online. Be sure to remember what keywords your post need to be optimized for and before you hit that Publish button, sprinkle them into your content.

For event listings you have the option of appearing online or in our For Your Diary section in the print magazine. Once you give the service your account information for one of those services, it will automatically republish your Blippr posts to the services you choose. Blippr can also connect to your Facebook account and Last.fm profile, and if you use another service that’s not listed, you can give Blippr the service’s Web address to see if it’s supported. Just note that the video won’t show up until you publish your post. No need to worry.

Video vs Text
If there is a compelling reason to create video content I think it will exist independent of text blogs, I don’t think it will necessarily be an evolution for all content to move in this direction. I don’t have headphones at work and the more some sites move to video for their content the more I find other sources of information. But in the context of ubiquitous social networks, they will develop into the following:
1) Universal identities
2) A single social graph
3) Social context for activities
4) Social influence defining marketing value.
A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages , and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs.
If you just want a link to your site, you might consider Text Link Ads . All of these services are the subject of scrutiny by Google, because they often involve links that pass pagerank to the advertiser. Now let’s watch this video outside of the context of Techcrunch and view it on the Qik site. Here we see a video with a “popular” video blogger who pimps Techcrunch.
